904L stainless steel, also known as 1.4539 material, is a high-quality austenitic stainless steel. One of the key factors that sets 904L apart from other stainless steels is its unique composition, which contains higher levels of nickel, chromium and molybdenum compared to standard stainless steel. This increases resistance to various acids, including sulfuric, phosphoric and acetic acids.
904L stainless steel is versatile and can be used in a variety of applications, including heat exchangers, pipelines, storage tanks and pumps.
