Characteristic application
The steel is usually stabilized by niobium or titanium, which can avoid intergranular corrosion after welding. The steel is especially suitable for use in various water treatment devices. The yield strength of 444 is equivalent to 1.5 times that of carbon steel and 6 times that of glass steel. It is excellent for shock resistance, snow resistance, wind pressure resistance and impact resistance. SUS444 ferritic stainless steel has high thermal conductivity, about 130% ~ 150% of chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel, very suitable for the use of heat exchange. Thermal expansion coefficient is small, the team is only 60% ~ 70% of the chromium nickel Olympic stainless steel, very suitable for thermal expansion, cold shrinkage, thermal cycle conditions. The steel has good ductility and toughness, and is suitable for stretching, rolling and stamping. In particular, the stress corrosion resistance is the most excellent, in high chloride medium corrosion resistance is better than ordinary ferritic stainless steel and austenitic stainless steel, generally does not produce chloride stress corrosion rupture. After adding Ti,Mo and other elements, the performance of pitting and crevice corrosion resistance is improved. The steel can be welded in the same way as ordinary stainless steel. The steel is especially suitable for food processing equipment, heat exchangers, water heater tanks, water storage tanks, solar energy collection panels, etc.444 steel belongs to high alloy ferritic stainless steel, compared with common steel SUS430:1. The chromium content is about 1.0%, and the alloying element molybdenum (Mo) is added, so the steel has good pitting corrosion resistance, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion resistance, and its corrosion resistance is even better than SUS304 and SUS316 in some fields. 2. Titanium (Ti), Nb (Nb), zirconium (Zr) and other stabilizing elements are added, so the steel has good intergranular corrosion resistance and high temperature oxidation resistance. The old brand is 00Cr18Mo2, the new brand is 019Cr19Mo2Nb1ï The unified digital code is S11972 (GB/T 20878-2007).
