Surface Treatments
Pickling: Through pickling, the oxide scale and impurities on the surface of the alloy bars are removed, making the surface show the metallic color, and improving the corrosion resistance and appearance quality.
Bright Treatment: Methods such as electrolytic polishing and mechanical polishing are used to make the surface of the alloy bars obtain a mirror-like bright effect. This not only improves the appearance quality but also reduces the surface roughness and reduces the adsorption of corrosive media.
Passivation Treatment: The alloy bars are immersed in the passivation solution to form a passivation film on the surface, enhancing the corrosion resistance of the alloy.
Manufacturing Processes
Hot Working: The hot working temperature range is generally between 950-1150°C. Forging, rolling and other hot working operations within this temperature range can enable the alloy to obtain good formability and microstructure properties.
Cold Working: It includes processes such as cold drawing and cold rolling, which can further improve the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the alloy bars. At the same time, it increases the strength of the alloy. However, during the cold working process, attention should be paid to controlling the processing amount and speed to avoid defects such as cracks.
Heat Treatment: It usually includes solution treatment and aging treatment. The solution treatment temperature is generally between 980-1050°C, followed by rapid cooling to obtain a uniform austenite structure. The aging treatment temperature is between 700-750°C, which can enable the alloy elements in the alloy to precipitate fully, improving the strength and hardness of the alloy.
