Inconel 625 AMS 5666 round bars are high-performance nickel-based alloy products. The main components are: nickel (Ni) balance, chromium (Cr) 20 - 23%, molybdenum (Mo) 8 - 10%, niobium (Nb) 3.15 - 4.15%. Other elements include: iron (Fe) ≤5%, aluminum (Al) ≤0.4%, titanium (Ti) ≤0.4%, carbon (C) ≤0.1%, manganese (Mn) ≤0.5%, silicon (Si) ≤0.5%, phosphorus (P) ≤0.015%, sulfur (S) ≤0.015%.

Inconel 625 exhibits outstanding resistance to various corrosive media in both oxidizing and reducing environments. It performs exceptionally well in chloride environments, resisting pitting, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion, and erosion. Additionally, it shows strong resistance to inorganic acids such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and mixed acids, as well as alkalis and organic acids. It effectively resists chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking and is virtually immune to corrosion in seawater and industrial gas environments.
High Strength and Good Toughness: At room temperature, the minimum tensile strength is 827 MPa, the minimum yield strength is 414 MPa, and the elongation is 30%. It retains high strength at elevated temperatures and offers good resistance to creep and fatigue. It maintains excellent tensile and fatigue properties in the temperature range of -196°C to 980°C.
Ease of Machining and Welding: Inconel 625 has excellent machinability and can be processed by both hot and cold working methods. It also has good weldability and is not prone to cracking after welding.
