DIN 1.2550 DIN 60WCrv7 6CrW2Si is a steel grade formed by adding a certain amount of tungsten on the basis of chrome-silicon steel, because tungsten helps to preserve relatively fine grains during quenching, and to obtain higher toughness in the tempered state.
6CrW2Si steel has higher quenching hardness and certain high temperature strength than 4CrW2Si steel and 5CrW2Si steel. It is usually used to manufacture tools that bear impact loads and require high wear resistance, such as pneumatic tools, chisels and stamping dies, cold shear blades, die for punching edges, and tools for air hammers.

(2) After tempering treatment before delivery, it has the following advantages:

1, 677±15℃ preheating, 855℃(salt bath) or 900±6℃(furnace control atmosphere) heating, holding 5-15min, oil cooling, 58-204℃ tempering.
2, 677±15℃ preheating, 941℃(salt bath) or 955±6℃(furnace control atmosphere) heating, holding 5-15min, air cooling, 56-204℃ tempering.
3, 820±15℃ preheating, 1000±6℃(salt bath) or 1010±6℃(furnace control atmosphere) heating, holding 10 ~ 20min, air cooling, 200±6℃ tempering.
4, 790±15℃ preheating, 940℃(salt bath) or 950±6℃(furnace control atmosphere) heating, holding 5-15min, air cooling, 200±6℃ tempering.
5, 790±15℃ preheating, 1010℃(salt bath) or 1020±6℃(furnace control atmosphere) heating, holding 5-15min, air cooling, 550±6℃ tempering.
